Westmoreland County Judge John Blahovec yesterday issued a bench warrant for the arrest of 58-year-old Tammy Felbaum of Seward for failing to appear for a plea court hearing at which she was to plead guilty to disorderly conduct.
Felbaum was charged in February with misdemeanor terroristic threats and summary disorderly conduct after claiming to have an Uzzi machine gun, guns, and a rocket launcher in her purse as she walked through the metal detectors at the Westmoreland County Courthouse. She was there to appear at a civil court hearing before another judge.
Felbaum has a lengthy criminal history, including a prison term for the attempted castration and death by overdose of her sixth husband in Butler County. She was originally born Thomas Wyda in Fayette County and underwent a sex-change after self-castrating in 1978.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tammy Felbaum is urged to contact their local police.
