Three jury trials are set to get underway today with jury selection scheduled for this morning.
Court documents show that only three cases will have their jury selection hearings today. One is for 29-year-old Clifford Camut Jr. of Johnstown. He was charged on January 1st of 2020 with public drunkenness and three drug-related crimes. He was last in court in 2020 to be sentenced in five different criminal cases including drug-related, theft and burglary.
Also due in court today is 44-year-old Len Lydic of Clymer. He faces multiple DUI-related accounts for an incident May 26th of 2020.
And 40-year-old Robert Allan Ayres of Indiana is charged with simple assault and harassment for an incident on November 13th of 2020. Police say on that day that Ayres punched a person in an incident at 9:49 PM in the 1200 block of Church Street. The allegations were brought on by a patient at IRMC at the time.
Jury selection is expected to start at 8:30 this morning.
