Some lane shifts are expected to start tonight in the Route 286/422 project area.
Line painting was going on late last week for the lane shifts, which are expected to run from 7:00 tonight to 7:00 tomorrow morning, with a similar schedule expected for tomorrow night into Wednesday morning. Line painting and traffic signal installation and movement will also be going on during that time. Motorists are asked to have some extra patience as traffic patterns change and delays are anticipated.
Drivers will also have to be aware tomorrow of the closure of the Oakland Avenue Entrance to Indiana Mall. The road will be closed for the movement of traffic lanes and signal heads. This anticipated to be a one-day closure. Those headed to the mall on Tuesday are asked to use the Warren Road entrance to the mall.
