After getting shut out last season, the South earned retribution in the 51st Annual Ken Lantzy All-Star Classic Friday night, beating the North 42-35.

Leading the stat column for the South was Conemaugh Valley’s Logan Kent, who posted four touchdowns on the night: two rushing, one receiving and one passing. Bedford’s Mercury Swaim went 11-for-15 with 173 yards and a touchdown and Chestnut Ridge’s Matthew Whysong hauled in six catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
River Valley was well-represented as Angelo Bartolini finished with 34 total yards and a touchdown, while Rocco Bartolini finished second on the team with six total tackles.
Homer-Center’s Justin Walbeck led the North’s defense with five tackles and one tackle for loss, while Purchase Line’s Mello Sanchez hauled in two catches for 34 yards and a touchdown. Richland’s Kellan Stahl went 17-for-24 passing with 264 yards and two touchdowns.
