A national nonprofit organization’s report card on the Indiana Regional Medical gives IRMC an “A” for its commitment to reducing errors, infections, and accidents that could harm patients.
The Leapfrog Group gave the outstanding grade to only 823 hospitals across the nation, and IRMC is the only local hospital to earn the A, affirming what President and CEO Steve Wolfe says “has always been and will remain (IRMC’S) top priority.” More than 2,600 hospitals are evaluated in the annual study.
