Today marks the kickoff to a popular fundraiser for the Evergreen After School Club.
The annual Kiss-A-Pig contest returns to raise funds for the after-school programs. The kickoff event will be held tonight at Noble Stein starting at 5:30. This will be a chance to meet the four participants for this year’s fundraiser. They are:
- State Senator Joe Pittman
- Corey Smith of First Commonwealth Bank
- Maddie Sabo of S&T Bank
- David Janusek, former director of the Evergreen After School Club.
The one who raises the most money will kiss “Olivia The Pig” during the Indiana County Fair on August 30th. Last year, the fundraiser brought in over $59,500.
