SW Jack Drillers defeated Brookville Firemans Club, 5-4, on Monday thanks to a walk-off hit-by-pitch of Trevor Smith in the bottom of the 7th. Ryan Okopal, Derek Miller, and Mason Raglani each collected one hit to lead SW Jack Drillers, their only three hits.
Jon Cribbs started the game for SW Jack Drillers and went five-and-a-third innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out two and walking one. Landon Kodman threw the final inning and two-thirds and earned the win, giving up a run on two hits.
Marion Center broke open a 0-0 game with an 8-run 4th inning and a 2-run 5th to Mercy Rule Punxsy Post 62, 10-0. Marion Center had seven hits,
Carter Smith was 2-3 with two RBIs, Trent Slovinsky drove in two, and Hunter Reichenbach had a double and scored two runs. Cam Rising was the winning pitcher, throwing five innings, striking out two and giving up four hits.
Jude Olinger had two of Punxsy’s four hits.
