As expected, the proposed Ben Franklin Elementary School building project is on hold at the White Township Planning Commission.
While the project was up for final approval on the agenda, one of the conditions for preliminary approval, the PennDOT traffic study, had just come in, and according to Assistant Township Manager Chris Anderson, the commission needs time to digest the information in that report. Approval of the final site plan was tabled to next month’s meeting.
In other business, the planning commission gave conditional approval for a final site plan at 1063 Indian Springs Road, where Dr. Scott Rowley has his practice. A storage shed would be erected on that property. Approval is conditional on establishing a no-mow area and a buffer of vegetated area near a stream.
