Last night it was the Guentzel and Rust show as both men had two goals to lead the Pens to a 5-3 win last night.
The scoring started with new guy Teddy Blueger picking up his first NHL goal at the 3:19 mark of the first. Jake Guentzel would get his first of the night at the 17:55 mark.
In the second period, Bryan Rust picked up his 13th of the season at the 11:36 mark. Ottawa scored their first of the game as Bobby Ryan put one by Casey DeSmith at the 15:00 mark.
In the third, Rust got his second of the night at the 8:05 mark to make it 4-1. Ottawa got close with two goals within 2 minutes of each other, but Jake Guentzel put it away at the 17:08 mark of the third.
The Pens play the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight at 6:00 on WCCS AM 1160 and 101.1 FM.
