Two wins on the road at Greensburg last night for the IUP Crimson Hawks , as they defeated Seton Hill .
The IUP men clinched a PSAC playoff berth with an 85-72 victory. The game was tied at halftime at 41.
Five players hit double figures led by Dante Lombardi with 23 points in 40 minutes of play. He also added seven assists, putting his career total at 511, just two away from a new IUP record. Malik Miller added 18 , Marko Krivacevic 12 off the bench, Armoni Foster 11 and Cobo Diaz 10. Diaz also had eight rebounds, upping his career total to 995.
With Slippery Rock’s loss to Gannon, IUP is in sole possession of first place in the West Division.
The women topped the Griffins, 72-57, forcing 26 turnovers. The women also had five players hit double digits, with Carolyn Appelby topping the list with 18 points. Brittany Robinson had 14, Lexi Griggs 12, Natalie Myers 11 and Lauren Wolosik with 10 points and dishing out eight assists.
