Many area fire departments were busy on Saturday, assisting with incidents in other counties.
Cherry Tree and Glenn Campbell fire departments were called out at 7:55 to assist fire crews in Westmoreland County with a structure fire on Colonel Drake Highway.
At 9:49 yesterday, Blairsville fire department was called out for a crash in Westmoreland County, but Indiana County 911 did not give the street where the fire took place.
A second structure fire was reported on Lupyan Road in Westmoreland County. Saltsburg and Tunnelton Fire Departments and LifeStat ambulance were all called to the scene at 4:26 PM.
Other incidents reported on Saturday included a car crash on Clarksburg Road in Conemaugh Township. Tunnelton and Blairsville fire departments were called along with Lifestat Ambulance and the State Police. Also, Black Lick fire department was called out for pumping duty on Palmerton Road in Burrell Township.
