A West Wheatfield Township man is in the Indiana County Jail after police say he shot a woman with a BB gun during a domestic altercation yesterday morning.
31-year-old Allen Karl Palmer was taken into custody at a home in the 20-hundred block of Climax Road. Police were summoned at about 11 o’clock yesterday morning. Palmer is accused of firing several BB rounds at a 24-year-old woman’s head, hand, and body while inside the home, causing minor to moderate injuries.
Police arrested Palmer without incident and seized the BB gun. He’s charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment. District Judge Jennifer Rega ordered Palmer held at the county jail, with bond set at $10,000.
