ORIGINAL STORY
In Indiana County Court today, Judge Michael T. Clark will consider a “motion to amend information” in the case against 30-year-old Charles Brantley Ross of Homer City, who is charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor resisting arrest, and two summary offenses: public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
Ross is accused of fighting with state troopers last August after they were summoned to a location along Old William Penn Highway in Burrell Township for a report of a man behaving erratically. He admitted to the troopers that he was under the influence of methamphetamine but refused to comply with their verbal commands and then attempted to dash into traffic and be hit by an oncoming vehicle. Police say Ross resisted being placed into their cruiser and attempted to assault them, kicking one trooper in the head.
Judge Clark will hear his case at 11 o’clock this morning.

Finally, Judge Clark with conduct a non-jury DUI trial for 55-year-old John C. Becker Jr. of Brookville, Jefferson County. In addition to three DUI filings, Becker is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and three summary traffic offenses.
