Indiana County first responders were busy on Sunday as multiple calls, including two vehicle accidents, were reported to Indiana County 9-1-1.
The first crash kicked off the day’s calls shortly 7 a.m., and it saw Bolivar Fire Department along with state police and Citizens Ambulance dispatched to Route 259 in West Wheatfield Township. The second happened just after 3 o’clock and it saw Armagh/East Wheatfield fire crews dispatched, along with state police and Citizens Ambulance, to Route 56 East in East Wheatfield Township.
Armaugh/East Wheatfield fire officials said there were no injuries suffered in the crash and crews were on scene for 30 minutes. No details have been released yet on the first crash.
Other calls reported include a pair of EMS Assists. Black Lick and Blairsville fire crews were dispatched to Main St. in Burrell Township around 4:30 p.m. for the first call, and Pine Township fire crews responded to the second call shortly after 5 p.m. They were dispatched to Spruce St. in Pine Township.
A landing zone was also reported, along with an automatic fire alarm activation. The landing zone was called in shortly before 1 p.m. Homer City fire crews were dispatched to Jacksonville Road in Center Township for that.
Blacklick, Blairsville and Coral/Graceton fire crews were dispatched to Marshall Heights Road in Burrell Township for the automatic fire alarm activation around 12:42 p.m.
