An alert for drivers on Route 119 north of Indiana: construction has begun again on the climbing lane project on Grove Chapel Hill in Rayne Township.
Signs went up yesterday reducing the speed limit to 45 miles per hour and advising motorists that the project is again an active construction zone covering about two-and-a-half miles. Work had stopped for the winter.
The $15 million project includes the realignment of the road from Musser Nursery northward and the construction of a truck climbing lane plus left-turn lanes. The estimated completion date is November of next year.
