The search is now underway for IUP’s new vice president of student affairs.
The thirteen member committee had their first meeting last month, and during that meeting, IUP President Dr. Michael Driscoll said that the role of the Student Affairs Vice President and the Division of student affairs were very important to IUP. The board also elected Tammy Manko and Ben Rafoth as the board’s joint co-chairs. They also set out a tentative timeline for their work.
The 13-member panel will have until February to gather input from various stakeholders, prepare and post job announcements, reach out to specific individuals who might be interested in the job, screen applications. In March, the committee will select semi-finalists and finalists. Candidates are expected to visit in April and by May or June, a decision on is expected to be made on who to offer the job to. Again, this is a tentative timeline and it could change based on how the search goes.
The official position announcement and position application can be found online. You can find those here.
