The Steelers welcomed wide receiver Diontae Johnson back yesterday as they opened the second week of Organized Team Activities. Johnson skipped all three practices last week. He stayed for an extra hour of work and did not speak to the media afterward, but the team said he would speak next week after one of the practices in mandatory minicamp.
Quarterback Kenny Pickett spoke to reporters after the workout and said he is learning every day from fellow QBs Mitch Trubisky and Mason Rudolph.
The Steelers yesterday released free agent defensive lineman Trevon Mason, who was signed after attending rookie minicamp.
