The Indiana County Warriors rugby team finished its quest for a state championship yesterday, downing State College, 19-17, in Reading.
Indiana led, 19-10, at the half and the Warriors defense stepped up during the second half to preserve the win.
The Warriors made it to the state semifinals last year during their first playoff appearance. In their second season, they finished what they started last year.
