BURRELL TOWNSHIP
Two people were arrested for disorderly conduct and harassment in an incident on March 20th in Burrell Township. State Police say Edward Irwin of Black Lick and Mistey Roles of Johnstown were involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical. That confrontation caused state police to respond twice to the same location on Main Street in Burrell Township. The two were placed in Indiana County Jail and charges were filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
WHITE TOWNSHIP
No one was injured in a crash at the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Old Route 119. Police say at 11:26 on Sunday, a 16-year-old unidentified driver from Homer City was going North on Wayne Avenue and was trying to turn left on Old 119, but did not see a car driven by Dymond Thomas of Chambersburg coming south on Wayne Avenue. The two vehicles collided at the intersection. Both vehicles required towing.
INDIANA BOROUGH
Indiana borough police are looking for the person who stole a license plate from a car parked in a private parking lot. The theft happened on Saturday at a lot at 31 South 10th Street. The plate was taken off of a silver Audi A6 that was parked there in the late afternoon or early evening hours.
