INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying those responsible for an incident of reckless driving that happened on Tuesday. Officers say that around 7:40 p.m., a black Chevrolet Cobalt nearly struck a juvenile male on a bicycle along the 400 block of Grant St., and then nearly struck another man a little later.
Officers say the car appeared to have three young men inside the vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call Indiana Borough Police at 724-349-2121.
CLYMER BOROUGH POLICE
According to a news release issued by Borough Police in Clymer, an Indiana man was arrested following a traffic stop on Friday. Reports say that at approximately 9:04 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a white Chrysler occupied by 40-year-old Michael Brown for a suspended registration.
Officers say Brown gave them a fake name and, after further investigation on the car, discovered that Brown had warrants out for his arrest. In addition, they found a pair of heroin needles hidden inside Brown’s shoe.
Brown was transferred to Indiana County Jail and charges are being filed for the needles.
