Indiana County first responders experienced a relatively quiet day of calls on Friday, as only two incidents were reported.
A structure fire was reported around 12:56 p.m. at a home along Parkwood Road in Armstrong Township and it saw Indiana, Aultman and Elderton fire crews, along with the Indiana County RIT team and Citizen’s Ambulance , dispatched. Indiana fire officials say there was no fire and that the homeowner cut and/or drilled into the wall and came into contact with a wire behind the wall that tripped the breaker. All other units were canceled.
The only other call was a landing zone reported along Behm Road in North Mahoning Township shortly after 1:30 Friday morning. Marion Center fire crews responded for that call.
