ARMSTRONG COUNTY
A Lucernemines man is facing possible drug charges after a traffic stop in Armstrong County on Wednesday.
19-year-old Chase Kromer was a passenger in a car driven by 21-year-old Chase Heckman of Cadogan, which is in Armstrong County. State police pulled the car over on Sawmill Road in Plum Creek Township and fond that Heckman was in possession of a controlled substance, which they don’t identify, and Kromer had “a large amount of marijuana”. Heckman was taken into custody. The charges against Kromer are pending.
BURRELL TOWNSHIP
A Josephine man and Indiana woman are charged with theft for allegedly stealing tools from another Josephine man and selling them for cash. State police say 29-year-old Joshua Shawn-Michael Duffy and 23-year-old Julie Wisor stole about $500 worth of Craftsman tools from the Ash Street home of a 65-year-old man who is not publicly identified. The tools have all been recovered.
WEST WHEATFIELD TOWNSHIP
Drug charges are pending against a 23-year-old Carnegie man after a traffic stop on Route 22 near Route 259 in West Wheatfield Township on Tuesday afternoon. Police say the suspect, who is not publicly identified, was under the influence of a controlled substance and that drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana were found inside the vehicle.
