The presumptive Democratic candidate for Governor and the current state Attorney General announced that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
Josh Shapiro made the announcement this morning, saying the results came after taking a precautionary test before heading to Johnstown and Pittsburgh. He said that he would isolate at home and that he was beginning to experience some mild symptoms. Shapiro was scheduled to join Lt. Governor candidate Austin Davis for an election returns watch party in Pittsburgh tonight.
Shapiro said that he will continue to isolate at home over the next few days and resume campaigning next week.
