The Pirates are one of eleven teams which sent representatives to watch former Rockies and Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki work out last week. The Bucs are interested in signing the free agent, who was released last week by Toronto after not playing due to injuries since July of 2017.
Meanwhile, Josh Harrison remains available after the Pirates let him go with a contract buyout after the season. The Nationals are considered one of the favorites to sign him, with the Yankees, Astros, and Giants interested. Harrison is a Cincinnati native, and the Reds are reported to be interested as well.
