The Penguins, led by Bryan Rust and Casey DeSmith, topped the Minnesota Wild, 2-1, last night at PPG Paints Arena.
Rust scored both Pittsburgh goals , while DeSmith stopped 40 shots. Jake Guentzel assisted on both shots.
Next up for the Pens , a trip to Carolina and a game with the Hurricanes Saturday night.
