Sentencing is scheduled today for a number of criminal defendants in Indiana County Court. One of them is a Marion Center man whose original court filing contains 1,082 offenses, all but about fifty of them for child pornography. The others are for designing or copy obscene materials depicting a minor. The incidents are dated December, 2016.
21-year-old Bradley William Cregar pleaded guilty to ten misdemeanor counts of designing or copying obscene material depicting a minor and underwent evaluation by the Sexual Offender Assessment Board to determine if he will be designated a sexually violent predator. That decision will likely be a part of today’s sentencing.
Also scheduled for sentencing is 56-year-old Kadmiel Crawford of Emlenton, Venango County. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor indecent assault and also underwent evaluation for designation as a sexually violent predator.
• 22-year-old Jared Wardo of Homer City will be sentenced for theft.
• 31-year-old Corey Heinrich of Windber will be sentenced for retail theft.
• 36-year-old James Patrick Edwards of New Kensington will be sentenced for theft.
• 55-year-old Martha May Patterson of Tarentum will be sentenced for recklessly endangering another person.
• 62-year-old Garry Lee Short of Blairsville has a Plea Court appearance in a DUI case.
