Members of the Indiana Area School District’s buildings, grounds and transportation committee are scheduled to meet on Monday and on the proposed agenda is discussion on the future of the Horace Mann Elementary School Building.
In January, the board voted to end classes at Horace Mann Elementary School as part of a reconfiguration plan for the district, but a decision has yet to be made on what to do with the building after that. Some potential points of discussion tomorrow include joint, public and/or private partnerships that would support the academic and educational needs of the community as a whole, along with public use by any entity.
The meeting starts at 5:30 on Monday at the District Board Room and it will also be made available online.
