An Indiana County woman was injured Tuesday morning in an accident in Jefferson County’s Henderson Township, which is in the Sykesville area.
State police say 35-year-old Christina Fetterman of Rossiter was a passenger in a vehicle operated by 24-year-old David Sierzaga of DuBois, who missed on a left-hand curve and slid off Route 119 into a utility pole. Fetterman suffered serious injuries and was taken to the DuBois Regional Medical Center. Sierzega was not injured, but was suspected of being under the influence and was taken to DRMC for a blood draw.
GREEN TOWNSHIP
No one was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on Route 240 in Green Township. State police say that during a whiteout with zero visibility, both of the vehicle were in the center of the highway when they collided. The drivers were 58-year-old Nina Fleming of Indiana and 30-year-old Robert Yingling of Cherry Tree. Both of their vehicle were disabled.
EAST MAHONING TOWNSHIP
State police have not identified the man accused of driving under the influence of alcohol when he crashed last month on Route 403 in East Mahoning Township. The accident happened on the evening of February 18th. The suspect is a 47-year-old man from Marion Center.
