The Penns Manor school board will meet tonight and consider approval of their tentative budget for the new fiscal year.
The proposed budget anticipates expenses of about $19.3 million, with revenues of $18.8 million. The district would borrow about $336,000 from the fund balance to make up the difference and hold the lines on real estate taxes.
Some of the other actions on a busy agenda include a new one-year contract with Metz Culinary Management to operate the food service plan for the district; an agreement with Family Behavior Resource to provide a behavioral consultant for the coming school year; and the retirement resignation of David Grimaldi as the district’s Director of Education.
The meeting will also include recognition of the Penns Manor girls basketball team for receiving the Tri-County Basketball Officials Sportsmanship Award.
