Homer City fire crews were called out to Indiana County’s 27th reported brush fire of the year so far yesterday.
Indiana County 911 reported that the call went out at 4:33 PM on Monday as the brush fire was reported along Lucerne Road in Center Township. Homer City firefighters reported little to no damage in the incident.
Indiana Fire Association was called out last night for a reported structure fire on Warren Road in White Township at 11:20 PM. The HAZMAT team and Citizens Ambulance were also on the scene. Indiana Fire Association officials say that the fire call turned out to be nothing more than burned food in an apartment complex along Warren Road near Centennial Drive.
And at 12:19 this morning, Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments were dispatched to Morewood Avenue in the borough for an automatic fire alarm activation.
