Criminal call hearings will be held today in Indiana County’s court of common pleas, and that includes a hearing for one of the people connected with the 2020 fatal shooting at the Carriage House Apartments.
19-year-old Isabella Edmonds of Indiana is one of four suspects in the shooting death of Jadeyn Wright in October of 2020 at the apartment complex near the border of Indiana Borough and White Township. Police said that she went with Isaiah Moore of Philadelphia, Terrion Gates of Philadelphia, and Delmar Chatman of Johnstown to Wright’s apartment to acquire some marijuana, but that incident lead to a shooting that killed Wright. The four fled the scene on foot after that. Edmonds faces charges of criminal homicide and robbery-inflict serious bodily injury.
Earlier this week, Gates was in the county court for a pre-trial motions hearing. Chatman and Moore are scheduled for motions hearings on June 29th.
Criminal Call is designed to update the court and the parties involved on the progress of a case. Proceedings are usually postponed to a later date, but on occasion, guilty pleas have been entered at the Criminal Call phase.
