The cost of a gallon of gas continues to go up across the nation and in Pennsylvania.
The average cost of a gallon of gas across the United States is now $4.24 a gallon, an increase of two cents over the last 24 hours, ten cents over the last week, and seven cents higher than last month at this time. Meanwhile, Pennsylvania’s average jumps two cents over the last 24 hours to $4.41 a gallon. It’s also a 17-cent jump from last week and a 15-cent increase over the last month.
Indiana’s average is below the statewide average at $4.37 a gallon, tying it with Westmoreland County. Armstrong County has the lowest average in the region at $4.36 a gallon. Jefferson County’s average is $4.38 a gallon, Cambria’s average is $4.39 a gallon, and Clearfield’s average is the highest in the region at $4.40 a gallon.
Gas prices in Indiana, Homer City, Blairsville and Clymer today held steady at $4.39 a gallon, according to Gasbuddy.com.
