Annette Kinter Frick, 82, of Indiana, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017, at St. Andrew’s Village.
Annette graduated in 1953 from Indiana High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1957. She retired from the Diocese of Greensburg after many years of teaching 4th grade at Divine Redeemer Catholic School in Ford City. She was a parishioner of Christ Prince of Peace Church in Ford City, where she also served as a Eucharistic Minister. Annette was a Penn State master gardener, an avid quilter, and a volunteer at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. She loved to cook for her family and was the winner of many Leader Times-cooking competitions.
She is survived by five children: Donald J. Kinter, Jr., of Oakmont; Carol Kinter Benson and husband Tim, of Phoenix, AZ; Richard J. Kinter and wife Lisa, of Muskego, WI; William F. Kinter, of Plymouth, MI; David J. Kinter and wife Jennifer, of Ford City; a sister, Regina Moreau Karshin, of Landisville, PA; five grandchildren: Natalie, Benjamin, Mollie, Jessa, and Nicholas Kinter and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Frank and Annette Moreau, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 39 years, Donald J. Kinter; her second husband, David Frick; and her brother, Fred Moreau.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday May 31st at Robinson-Lytle, Inc. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 1st at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
