Two people who were charged in connection with a drug bust in a White Township hotel will be in district court today for their preliminary hearings.
The hearings for 51-year-old James Emanuel Emerson and 37-year-old Kimberly Anne Caylor are scheduled for this afternoon in front of District Judge Susanne Steffee. State police did not say what lead them to obtain search warrants for a room at a hotel at 1411 Wayne Avenue on March 9th of this year. When police executed the warrants, they found heroin, methamphetamine, marijuana, packing material and a large amount of drug paraphernalia in the hotel room. Caylor is charged with three felony counts, two for possession with intent to deliver and one for criminal use of a communication facility; plus two misdemeanors, for possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia. Emerson is charged with the same three felonies plus possession of marijuana and of drug paraphernalia.
Both have been in Indiana County Jail, unable to post $150,000 bond.
