Charles Paul Huston, 79, of Blairsville, PA (Black Lick Twp.) passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana, PA.
The son of Charles and Arminta (Repine) Huston, he was born August 18, 1939 in Black Lick, PA.
Mr. Huston attended Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He worked for more than 30 years as a plumber for Indiana Regional Medical Center.
He was a former boy scout leader, loved to hunt and fish, enjoyed helping on the farm and riding his side by side.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy E. (Swasy) Adamchik Huston whom he married September 10, 2005; a stepson, Charles F. Adamchik, Jr. of Blairsville; two stepdaughters, Barbara J. Kindlin of Blairsville and Monica A. Ridilla (Stefan) of Indiana; six grandchildren, Kelly, Amy, Dan, Sara, Charles III and Brian; three great grandchildren, Abby, Emma and Sammy; a nephew, Bobby Jeffrey (Laura) of Lucernemines; two nieces, Roberta Pavlik (Ed) of Homer City and Rebecca Etling (Bill) of Blairsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Carole A. (Jeffrey) Huston.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral, PA.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA.
