Sunday was a busy day for Indiana County first responders.
At 12:20 PM on Sunday, Black Lick fire fighters were called out for a pumping detail on Blaire Road in Burrell Township. Fire crews reported that six to 12 inches of water got into a basement in the 500 block of Blaire Road.
At 3:11, crews were called out to the 19th brush fire in the year in Indiana County. This fire was reported along Tank Street in Pine Township. Pine Township fire department was dispatched at the time. Indiana Fire Association crews were also called out at 3:36 PM to help out with an incident on Timber Springs drive in White Township.
Indiana firefighters would be called out again at 6:11 PM to a vehicle accident on Wayne Avenue in Indiana Borough. Borough Police and Citizens Ambulance were also dispatched at that time. Details on this have not been released as of yet. Indiana firefighters were also dispatched one minute later for an automatic fire alarm activation on Lucerne Road in White Township.
