ERMA GRIFFITH, 96

Erma R. Griffith, age 96, formerly of Marion Center died on
Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Forbes Hospital, Monroeville.
She was born in 1922 in Valier, PA, to Glenn and Cleone
(Shields) Rosborough.
Erma is a member of the Presbyterian Church of Marion Center.
She was an avid bowler for leagues in Marion Center and
Indiana.
She bowled until she was 90 years young.
She also enjoyed watching the Penguins and Pirates.
Erma worked as a cook at the former Woodlawn Restaurant in
Marion Center.
Erma is survived by her three sons – Bryce (Linda) Griffith of
Albany, GA; Barry Griffith of Alameda, CA; Brent (Barb)
Griffith of Saltsburg, PA; her sister – Margaret Jean Rosborough
of Marchand, PA; and daughter-in-law – Janet Griffith of
Stephens City, VA; four grandchildren, and seven great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dean W.
Griffith in 2003, and her brother Fred Rosborough.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and
6-8 pm at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana, where a
funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 am with Reverend
Chris Enoch officiating.
Interment will be made next to her beloved husband in the
Marion Center Cemetery.
