Marion Center did not allow a hit in the entire Homer Center Baseball Boosters Tournament, as the Stingers followed up Friday’s 9-0 no-hitter over Homer Center with a 10-0 no-hit shutout win yesterday over Blacklick Valley.
In other action Saturday, Derry beat Homer Center, 12-3, and the Trojans also beat Blacklick Valley, 8-4.
Marion Center’s Ty Ryen was the tournament MVP and the All-Tournament team included the Stingers’ Landin Bennett and Parker Black, Homer Center’s Owen Saiani and Caleb Palmer, Derry’s Brayden Mickinac and Ryan Hood, and Blacklick Valley’s Alex Reba and Connor Maschalk.
