State police say a Shelocta man has been accused of stealing funds from a youth baseball team in Armstrong County.
Police say that last Monday a representative of Armstrong Indoor Athletics went to the Kittanning barracks and reported the theft of money from one of its baseball teams. After investigating the claim, police say 34-year-old Justin Cook, a coach of the 11-&-under team, will be charged with stealing $12,000 from the team over the past year.
Cook will be charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property.
