Nellie Mae Laney, 80, of Strongstown, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018, at the Communities at Indian Haven.
A daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Salsgiver Hollen, she was born July 15, 1937, in Nanty Glo.
Mrs. Laney was a homemaker and a member of the Strongstown United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Merle Robert Laney and his girlfriend, Lynette Hosie, of Strongstown; numerous brothers; eight grandchildren: Mike Laney, Tammy Bachick, Adam Laney, Tom Laney, Tim Laney, Joey Laney, Jessica Laney, Katrina Laney and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Thomas “Tuck” Laney; two sons: Daniel Laney and Randy Landy.
Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family, with Pastor Tom Phillips officiating. Private interment will be in Pineland Cemetery. Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana, is in charge of arrangements.
