June Foster, 92, of Indiana, passed away Friday, May 18, 2018, at the Communities at Indian Haven.
A daughter of the late Weimer Hobert and Elnora Melissa Deyarmin Hiner, she was born June 5, 1925, in Brush Valley Township, Indiana County.
Mrs. Foster was a graduate of Brush Valley High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Rochester. Mrs. Foster planned weddings for the church, as well as playing the piano and singing in the choir. She was an avid reader and bird watcher and enjoyed crafts, gardening, cooking and baking.
She is survived by nieces and nephews: Gerald and Susan Mentch; Deborah Mentch; and Kirk and Tanya Mentch; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Thomas Foster; an infant daughter; and a sister, Marjorie Mentch.
Friends and family will be received from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. Thursday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., with Pastor Carl A. Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
