PA Chapter 31 of the Red Knights held the 14th annual Teddy Bear Fun Ride on August 2nd covering about 101 miles across the county. Even with rainfall, David Crane said the run was great and so was the after party at the Altman Fire Hall.
Even though attendance was down, the group was able to raise $5,100 for the fund drive, which is the most raised in one year for the event.
The Teddy Bear Fund Drive raises money to help child health care at Indiana Regional Medical Center and the Free Care Fund of Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
The group has a chili cook-off coming up on November 15th at the Cherryhill Volunteer Fire Department from 11-3.
