INDIANA BOROUGH
The warm weather made conditions ripe for some outdoor gatherings, but police had to break one up Friday afternoon as it got too rowdy. Indiana Borough Police broke up a large party in the 900 block of Wayne Avenue on Friday around 3:55 PM as the party violated the borough code for disorderly gatherings. Amanda Cohen of Rockville, Maryland was cited for the violation.
SALTSBURG, PA
State Police have charged a Saltsburg man with theft after he was caught on camera stealing a briefcase left accidentally on the sidewalk. The incident happened on February 3rd at 1:45 PM in the 700 block of Salt Street, when a 38-year-old Saltsburg Man left his briefcase on the sidewalk by accident outside his home. When he went back to get it, the briefcase was gone. Among the items in the briefcase was a bottle of prescription medicine. Police charged 27-year-old Tylor Packer of Saltsburg with theft of mislaid property after they viewed footage of him taking the briefcase and the prescription medication.
