No major incidents have been reported in connection with IUP’s Homecoming celebrations, but police are highly visible.
Officers from Indiana Borough, IUP and State Police are out in full force as previously stated by the Indiana Area Collaborative Team. Officers and other volunteers were also seen along Philadelphia Street helping people cross as part of the awareness efforts of the new traffic signal patterns.
I-Act Representative Michelle Fryling said there were no large-scale incidents or reports of unruly behavior, but the team will release a report on the efforts of first responders later this morning.
