Donna J. (Witmer) Spiaggi, 73 of Black Lick, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at her home. She was born August 29, 1953 in Indiana, PA, the daughter of the late Harry D. Witmer and Ellen M. (Tirney) Witmer. Over the years Donna had worked at Gosnell’s Greenhouse, Sheetz and Canton’s Turkey Farm. She was a member of the Black Lick Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending lots of time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Donna loved flowers, playing Bingo, shopping and watching her shows, especially Law and Order.
She is survived by her husband, William Spiaggi, Black Lick, PA; son, Jerry Shirley, Jr., Black Lick, PA; daughter, Kimberly Risinger & husband, David, Blairsville, PA; daughter, Kelly Knupp, Blairsville, PA; step-son, Ryan Spiaggi & wife, Britney, GA; step-son, Billy Spiaggi, GA; grandchildren: Brian Knupp & wife, Laurel, Black Lick, PA, Emily Fischer & husband, Payton, Shelocta, PA; Gracy Ingmire & husband, Charles “CJ”, Blairsville, PA, David Jacob Risinger, Black Lick, PA, Shawn Knupp, Blairsville, PA and Jerry Shirley, MO; great grandchildren: Zayn & Eliana Fischer; step grandchildren: Hunter, Rylan, Grayson and Serenity Spiaggi, Eli, Colton & Christian Spiaggi, Josh & Troy Duffee-Duerr & Elizabeth Beall; sister, Vicki Smerker, Homer City, PA; brother, Robert Witmer & wife, Edna, Cherry Tree, PA; sister, Kathy Witmer, Homer City, PA and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sandy Steffey; brothers: Richard, Walter, Harry & Benjamin Witmer; half siblings, Richard Witmer & Estelle Smith and son-in-law, Thomas Knupp.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, all services will be private. Interment will be held in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana, Pennsylvania. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, PA 15717 to help with funeral expenses.
