Four new measles cases have been reported in Indiana County over the last few days.
This brings the total number of cases for the year to 24 for the county according to the PA Department of Health. Another 74 cases have been reported across the state since Monday, with the total now standing at 1,078, along with five measles-related deaths. Over the last seven days, 145 new cases have been reported. 207 people across the state have been hospitalized for measles-related reasons.
Jefferson County increased to 50 cases over the last few days. Clearfield County is now at 43. Westmoreland and Armstrong Counties have two apiece and Cambria County has one. The highest concentration of measles cases remains in Lancaster County, where 401 cases have been reported.
