The third “Superload” bringing equipment to the Homer City Generation Energy Campus is expected to wrap up today.
No problems have been reported so far for the vehicles bringing the heavy and outsized loads from the Schenley Docks in Armstrong County to the facility in Center Township. Edwards Moving and Rigging reports that they will pick up the commute today at 9:00 AM and are expected to arrive at the HCG facility at noon.
After today, expect at least 12 more superload deliveries in the month of October. Deliveries are expected on October 1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th. Deliveries are also scheduled in November before Thanksgiving and there will be some in January after the holiday season. Travel times, route and possible detours will be announced by PennDOT prior to approved transportation dates, but the vehicles are expected to follow the same route as the previous trips.
