Details have been released on a one-vehicle crash in North Mahoning Township last Thursday.
State police from the Punxsutawney Barracks were sent out at 7:39 AM for the crash on Route 210 near East Smith Road. Troopers say that 38-year-old Sarah Rankin was blinded by the sunrise and slowed down, but drifted off the road and ended up hitting a tree on the side of the road. The SUV she was driving was disabled and had to be towed. No injuries were reported.
