George H. Weaver, III, 61 of Blairsville, PA, passed away on September 22, 2026 at his home. He was born December 27, 1964 in Indiana, PA to the late George H. Weaver, Jr. and Mary Jane (Henderson) Hankinson. George worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for Rycon Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and all outdoor activities.
He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Rizer & husband, Robert, Blairsville, PA; grandchildren: Jaxson, Jace and Harper Rizer; siblings: Cindy Hinsinger & husband, Joseph, Blairsville, PA, John Weaver, Blairsville, PA, Kim Hancock & husband, Denny, Blairsville, PA, Daniel Weaver & wife, Jen, Blairsville, PA and Deborah Shreckengost & husband, Shannon, Blairsville, PA and also many nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Darla Weaver.
In keeping with George’s wishes, all services will be private. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana, PA. If so desired, memorial donations may be made in George’s name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693. Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, Blairsville, PA are handling the arrangements.
