The nationwide average cost for gasoline remains high this morning.
Triple-A reports that the current average this morning is $4.47 a gallon, a jump of 15 cents from last week and a jump of $1.29 from last year at this time. Pennsylvania is seeing a similar jump with gas at $4.56 on average in the state, a seven-cent jump from last week and $1.24 from last year.
Indiana County’s average this morning is on the higher end of the spectrum at $4.70. The highest average in the region is Westmoreland at $4.72 while the lowest averages are in Clearfield and Cambria Counties at $4.62.
Around Indiana, Blairsville and Clymer, prices are hovering at $4.72 and $4.79. Along the Route 119 corridor in Homer City, prices at Sheetz and Kwik Fill this morning are $4.69 while Accent Fuels is $4.59.
